Description

You are looking at an incredibly original and rare Ferrari 275 GTB/6C. One of approximately sixty 275 GTBs that were equipped with 6 Weber carbs from the factory. Our 275 GTB/6C “short nose” has to be one of the most original examples in existence. The engine bay displays many original features installed when the car was new, including plug wires, heater hoses and rarely seen “Colombo” gaskets beneath the six Weber carbs. The car has been repainted once, by Gaston Crepaldi, the official Ferrari dealer in Milan, in July 1972. Chassis # 06731 has never been restored throughout its fully documented life. As you would expect, the car retains its matching number engine, transmission and drivetrain.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an ultra-rare and desirable Ferrari, in virtually untouched condition, fresh out of 52 years of loving ownership. Having been off the road for about five years when it came to us, we changed all of the fluids, flushed out the fuel lines, cleaned the Webers, changed the spark plugs and fired up the engine with a minimum of fuss. The engine immediately showed excellent oil pressure and revved cleanly. We then changed the clutch master and slave cylinders, serviced the brakes, and drove the car around the Team CJ parking lot! Although a more thorough service will be required before 06731 can be considered truly roadworthy, she is currently running, driving, steering and stopping under her own power.

In summary, this is an incredibly original, super-rare Ferrari, once owned by F1 and Le Mans winning racing driver Masten Gregory. This unrestored Ferrari 275 GTB/6C represents an unrepeatable opportunity – certainly not one to be missed!
