Team CJ is delighted to present our beautiful 1970 Mercedes Benz 280SL.
This extremely attractive Pagoda was originally delivered new to former U.S. Ambassador Louis Susman. The car retains its factory spot welds in the inner fender areas, and the body number stamped on the data plate (925) matches the numbers found on the bonnet, soft top lid, and hardtop.
Finished from the factory in Dark Red (542), the car was repainted a factory color, Light Ivory, by its second owner, Dr. Julius Clyne, and returned to that same Light Ivory finish during a late 2025 restoration by the previous owner.
The car has been fitted with a RetroSound radio with Bluetooth, and in 2026 underwent servicing at Team CJ in preparation for sale, including a new set of Michelin MXV whitewall tires, brake fluid flush, oil change, power steering fluid change, coolant flush, and a transmission service.
The car drives beautifully and needs absolutely nothing but its next owner!
